Former first lady Michelle Obama is growing her squad as we draw closer and closer to the 2020 elections. On Thursday, Obama, and When We All Vote, the organization that she launched to increase voter participation in every election, announced the addition of seven new co-chairs to help drive home the message.

Showrunner Shonda Rhimes and actors Tracee Ellis Ross and Kerry Washington will be joining actress Liza Koshy, singer Selena Gomez, entertainer Rita Wilson and soccer star Megan Rapinoe as the new co-chairs of When We All Vote and Obama’s “Voting Squad.”

The new co-chairs will now join the ranks of co-chairs Tom Hanks, Janelle Monáe, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Chris Paul in helping to spread the message to sign up and create your own “Voting Squads” ahead of the 2020 elections.

“If you’re still thinking that your vote doesn’t count, it’s time to simply wake up. And if you think your vote is enough, it’s time to step it up. Every election is an opportunity for change, and I’m excited to partner with Mrs. Obama and my When We All Vote Co-chairs to help encourage and educate communities about tools that can help bring about needed change this election year,” Rhimes said in a statement to ESSENCE.
