Felony vandalism charges against Kanye West have been dropped after his arrest following an altercation at Los Angeles International airport on September 11. West, along with manager Don Crowley, was taken into custody after damaging a photographer’s camera when the jitterbug tried to steal a couple of takes without the star’s consent. The Grammy-winning rapper is now only facing a misdemeanor charge.
West sounded calm, cool and collected when he wrote about the situation on his blog after being released from jail. “We back in the lab!!! I’m cool with the paparazzi. This guy wasn’t cool. I gotta work now,” he wrote. The Chi-town lyricist is scheduled to release his next album, “808s and Heartbreak” in November.
