NBA wife Jackie Christie is set to host the Black Women in Film Tribute at the 10th anniversary Hollywood Black Film Festival (HBFF) on Saturday, June 6. Christie, who is fashion designer and author, was chosen by founder Tanya Kersey to host in addition to speaking during this monumental event because of her philanthropic endeavors and movement she entitles “Colored Girl.” “I am very honored to be taking part in the HBFF’s 10th anniversary festival to support the women in film series. As well as pay tribute to Tanya Kersey for her dedication to the entertainment industry and the Hollywood Black Film Festival, which recognizes filmmakers from all over the world,” says Christie.—QS
