• The internet has been buzzing with Beyoncé pregnancy rumors. Jay-Z shot down those rumors on the red carpet of the release party of NBA 2K13 hosted at the 40/40 Club. “Not tonight,” he said when asked if Beyoncé is expecting. “Not in nine months – absolutely not. Not in one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight or nine months.” [E Online]
• T.I. was honored at last night’s ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Legends Mixer for his work in the music industry. Other notable honorees included ex-TLC manager Pebbles, Michael Maldin, Kendall Minter and Noontime. [Vibe]
•The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg got into a heated debate with controversial guest Ann Coulter yesterday. Coulter appeared on the show to promote her new book Mugged, but it quickly turned into a discussion about race. Goldberg fired at Coulter, “Tell me how you know about being Black? You just made all these statements about how Black people feel. Tell me how you know.” Coulter responded that Mugged “is not a book about Black people,” but it’s about “white liberals.” Sherri Shepherd then jumped into the discussion with her opinion. [Grio]
• BET is set to debut a documentary about President Barack Obama’s road to the present called Second Coming? Will Black America Decide 2012. It will highlight Obama’s 2008 election win, his accomplishments in office and more. Viewers can expect to see commentary from Kerry Washington, Usher and other stars. The first part will air on October 19, while the second part will air on October 26. Will you be watching? [Vibe]
•G-Note recording artist, Governor Washington, is turning his attention to the upcoming election these days.
