Jessica and Harold had an instant connection from their first date on when they talked and cuddled until the sun came up.
Jessica and Harold have shared many memorable firsts together — a first vacation to Outer Banks in North Carolina, a first puppy and then their first trip overseas.
Jessica and Harold’s love runs deep, which they credit to praying together.
“[Harold] is easy to get along with because he has that fervent personality,” says Jessica. “He’s a loving, honest, and extraordinary man.”
“Jess has demonstrated a lot of the characteristics that I was looking for in a woman and in a wife,” says Harold.
Jessica and Harold both work out together regularly and encourage one another to stay fit. Jessica says, “He likes my curves and I love his muscles.”
“We love each other’s personalities, because we are complete opposites. I admire how he calmly handles situations and he likes how feisty I can get,” says Jessica.
“We spend a lot of time together enjoying the little things because they hold great magnitude,” Jessica tells us.
With Harold being an active duty officer, he and Jessica struggle with the possibility of him being deployed in September, shortly after they say “I do.”
Even with the fear of beau Harold’s deployment lingering in the background, this happy couple enjoys every moment together — making it fun, and making it count.
Jessica and Harold both agree that knowing they are one step closer to marriage is the most exciting part of being engaged.
