Antonique Smith makes her big-screen debut as Faith Evans in the Biggie biopic “Notorious.” The role gave her an inside look at Faith and Biggie’s relationship.
“They really loved each other,” she says. “She fell in love with him because he was charming and funny, and charismatic.”

“I found out from Faith’s book that she thought they had more time to mature a little bit and they would get back together,” Antonique says. “That’s what makes it so devastating.”
Antonique looks forward to clearing a path of her own. Though she plays Faith in “Notorious,” she’s often told she looks like other stars.
“I would get Rihanna or on the blogs [they’d say I look like] Rocsi from ‘106 & Park’,” she says with a laugh.
