The President was due to fly back to D.C. yesterday, but the rest of the clan stayed on in Paris for a short private visit. The girls also visited Notre Dame Cathedral and had the chance to dine privately in a traditional French bistro during their stay.

Packed and ready to roll, the handsome First Family depart from Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland on July 5. They were heading to Moscow, Russia, on the first leg of their weeklong trip that also took them to Italy and Ghana.

Word is the President will meet Mrs. Obama, Malia and Sasha in Paris this weekend for a little foreign family fun. This will be the first trip abroad for the girls since they moved into the White House in January.
Mrs. Obama will have one public event in Normandy, France, on Saturday, but the rest of the family getaway will be private, per White House officials. In her commencement address yesterday, the First Lady encouraged grads to travel the world and learn multiple languages. In fact, she admitted that not learning more than one language was a regret of hers and the President. Looks like she doesn’t want that to happen to her own daughters.
