He founded the Cynthia Gibbs Foundation, became the spokesperson for the National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome and helped to enact laws in both New York state and Congress. “Her death has saved thousands of lives with the education that we’ve put in place,” he says. “We teach parents, caretakers and teachers how to discipline children while keeping emotions in check.”
