Pharrell Turns "Happy" Into a Children's Book
Pharrell's hit song, "Happy," hasn't ended its run quite yet. The Grammy- and Oscar-nominated singer-producer is taking the message from his summer jam and turning it into a book for children. Aptly titled "Happy," the kid's book will hit stores in September and feature boys and girls around the world celebrating life and simply being happy. [Madame Noire]

Loni Love Reveals Self-Esteem Struggle
Loni Love revealed that she still struggles with accepting her weight. During an emotional episode of The Real, co-host Loni Love shared how hard it is for her to be accepted as a "bigger woman."
"These ladies make me feel really at home and welcome about my body," she said tearfully. "No matter what anybody wants to say, it's harder to dress when you're not the sample size. I want to thank the fans out there because they send me tweets saying that I look good."
Talib Kwele Gives Over $100,000 to Ferguson Protestors
Hip-hop icon Talib Kwele is showing Black Lives Matter by donating over $100,000 to protesters in Ferguson, Missouri. Over the months since the Michael Brown shooting, Kwele has been crowdfunding to raise money for the livelihood and legal expenses of the peaceful protestors.
"These are young men and women who have put their lives on hold to stand up for all of our freedoms," Kweli said in a statement. "We hope these funds help to empower." [Huffington Post]

Drake's New Album Sets Spotify Records
Drake didn't quite break the Internet with his surprise album drop, but he did break some Internet records. The unannounced release of the rapper's EP, If You're Reading This It's Too Late, was streamed over 17.3 million times on Spotify in just three days. Drake's 2013 album Nothing Was the Same previously held the record for most streams. Looks like Drake is on a roll. [Yahoo.com]

Lil Wayne Goes All Out for Daughter's 'Sweet 16'
Say what you want about Lil Wayne, he consistently proves that he is a loving, spoiling father. The rapper threw an MTV Super Sweet 16 birthday bash for his daughter, Reginae. With a limitless budget, Reginae went shopping for diamonds, had no less than four costume changes, had Nicki Minaj perform for her and, to top it all off, rode away from her party in a brand new Ferrari.
