Could the rapper be gearing up for her film debut?

Remy Ma is on top of the world. The rapper's song with Fat Joe, "All the Way Up," is a two-time platinum hit, she's appeared on Empire, she and Papoose are working on a relationship book, and people are still talking about "Shether." So what's next for Remy?

ESSENCE caught up with the rapper at The Fate of the Furious premiere, where she dished that she might be ready to conquer film. "Actually, I'm working on something right now, top secret," she said. When pressed for more the rapper added that the film would have a " 2017 Set It Off-type vibe."

Um, sign us up now! We could definitely see Remy Ma playing a bad ass lead.

The rapper also admits that she's a bit of an adrenaline junkie, another reason we're interested in seeing her in an action-packed film, adding that when it comes to getting behind the wheel she's not as cautious as hubby Papoose. "I'm probably the better driver," she says, "He's the more cautious driver. He's not gonna double park and he takes, like, ten minutes to park period."
