You Have To Watch Iconic Civil Rights Leader John Lewis Crowd Surf On The 'Colbert Show'

Representative John Lewis had quite the time during his recent sit-down with nighttime talk show host Stephen Colbert and he's got the crowd surf to prove it!

The U.S. Congressman and iconic civil rights leader visited the popular Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday to promote his new graphic novel series, March, which recounts his experiences during the Civil Rights Movement. Following their brief chat, Rep. Lewis made his way over to the audience to shake hands and interact with fans just prior to leaving the stage.

Before he knew it, the Georgia Democrat was hoisted up into the air and across the excited crowd.
