The newly signed Atlanta Hawks player used to sing Beyoncé songs to help him focus at the free throw line.

Basketball player Dwight Howard has turned to Beyoncé in times of need.

The recently signed Atlanta Hawks player told ESPN's TrueHoop that to block out all the voices and nerves at the free throw line, he sings Beyoncé songs. "I used to sing Beyoncé songs, that was my thing," he said, "I told her about it when I saw her. I said, 'When I sing your song, I make my free throws.' She seemed to like that."

Looks like Dwight Howard might be a member of the BeyHive. We're not sure if the NBA player is still singing at the free throw line, but if so, we hope he's checked out Lemonade.
