“With Beaumoji, our goal is to provide emojis that beauty enthusiasts crave and speak to their unique passions, lifestyles and personalities," Rachel Weiss, Vice President of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at L'Oréal USA, said in a press release.
This new launch is just part of the latest efforts in L'Oréal’s ongoing strategy to include more beauty into the digital world. From emoji’s of hands, lipsticks, faces, various hair colors and textures to nail polishes and even colorful Fros, L'Oréal is sharing the true individuality of beauty. There will, however, be seasonal changes and we do hope they reflect those changes with diversity being a focal point.
To celebrate the launch L'Oréal is offering a contest to design your own emoji and if picked it will be added to the keyboard. Additional details can be found here.
