The heels on her Manolo Blahnik collection haven't even cooled yet, but Rihanna is already on her second designer collaboration for the year.
According to WWD, Rihanna has designed an eyewear range for Dior.
The "Work" singer is currently an ambassador for the luxury brand, alongside other celebs like Charlize Theron and Jennifer Lawrence, but she's the only one who has been blessed with design privileges.
In a statement, Dior CEO Sidney Toledano praised her as a style icon for today's generation. Though we're sure seeing the demand for her Manolo's crash the shoe brand's website might have been a little motivating too.
Rih's Dior eyewear is based on one of the fashion house's vintage designs from 2000, which she updated with futuristic inspiration from "Star Trek" character La Forge. The frame comes in silver, pink, blue, green, and red retailing for $840. A deluxe 24-karat gold plated version is priced at $1,950.
Dior's eyewear designer Mathieu Jamin said the sunglasses are "really strong and something we don't have in the collection, so it's unique".
It's so strong there's no official campaign. Just some in-house editorial pics of Rihanna in a metallic catsuit modeling the shades.
They will sell themselves.
The collaboration eyewear will be sold exclusively in Dior stores starting early June.
