Obamas to Host International Jazz Day Ceremony at the White House

Herbie Hancock, Aretha Franklin and Al Jarreau are some the artists to be featured during the event. 

President and First Lady Obama are avid music lovers and in their final months at the White House, they wil host a celebration for International Jazz day. 

The Hollywood Reporter shares that the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, legendary pianist Herbie Hancock and jazz great Al Jarreau will be featured in concert.

On April 29, POTUS and FLOTUS will welcome the three artists and other up-and-coming musicians for a day-long celebration. The concert will be televised on ABC the next day to commemorate the fifth anniversary of International Jazz Day.
