John Boyega Wins BAFTA Award and Goes Straight To Work on Next 'Star Wars' 

The box office record-breaking Star Wars, which starred Lupita Nyong’o (nominated for Best Virtual Performance for her role in this film) and John Boyega (nominated for Breakthrough Performance and Best Action Performance for his role in this film) leads the pack with 11 total MTV nominations, including Movie of the Year and Ensemble Cast.

'Creed' Producers Say Sequel Will Focus on Michael B. Jordan's Character 

Straight Outta Compton received nominations for Movie of the Year and True Story, with O’Shea Jackson Jr. nominated for Breakthrough Performance.

Creed was also nominated for Movie of the Year, with Michael B. Jordan receiving a nomination for Best Male Performance.

Competing with Michael B. Jordan for Best Male Performance is Will Smith for his role in Concussion, which received a nomination in the True Story category.
