This year's concert promises to be the biggest, most diverse event yet!
"3 Stages. 23 Artists. Biggest Roots Picnic Yet!"
Usher (backed by The Roots), Future, Leon Bridges, Lolawolf and more are set to hit the stage at The Roots 9th Annual Picnic, held at Philadelphia's Festival Pier.
The announcement comes with the help of Broad City's Abbi and Ilana, who hilariously list the lineup for the June 4th show.
Acts include The Roots, Blood Orange, Kehlani, Kaytranada, Swizz Beatz, Jidenna, Ibeyi, DMX, Metro Boomin, Migos, Lil Dicky, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Willow Smith, Lolawolf, Everyday People feat. DJ Moma, Paris Monster, Rich Medina, Tish Hyman, Lil Uzi Vert and Gogo Morrow.
"We are excited that the Picnic is growing each year," said Shawn Gee, executive producer and co-founder of the Roots Picnic. "For the second year in a row we have reconfigured the Picnic site to maximize the amount of people that can attend. We are laser focused on building an amazing fan experience and continuing to build a diverse lineup that matches the collective tastes and interests of the curators, Questlove and Black Thought of the Legendary Roots Crew. This year is going to be a lot of fun!"
Tickets for the concert will go on sale to the general public Friday, February 5 at Noon via Ticketmaster, Live Nation or by-phone at 800-745-3000.
