We love what President Obama had to say about America's progress and we promise were were listening but... did you see Michelle Obama in that dress?
Known for her impeccable style throughout the years, FLOTUS did it again in a bright marigold wool crepe dress by Narciso Rodriguez, reports E Online.
And it's already sold out!
As soon as the First Lady stepped into the room, the internet started buzzing about the flawless look—and for good reason.
To many, the dress offered a symbol for the hope and optimism that President Obama touched on during his speech.
In addition to being appropriate for the occasion, Michelle Obama's gorgeous look was just a reminder of what a champion she's been for fashion since she's been in office.
During a fashion workshop for students in October 2014, she touched on the importance and vast impact of the fashion industry saying, "What most people don't realize is that there are so many different aspects to this industry. Whether it's business marketing or technology and manufacturing, even agriculture that produces the wool and the cotton that ultimately becomes our clothes, it's a big, complicated industry," Michelle told the students. "The industry is also a huge contributor to this economy."
We think it's safe to say that when it comes to State of the Union attire, FLOTUS went out with a bang.
