Last night's Tidalx1020 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center was a star-studded event, with performances from Beyonce, Jay Z, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and the like, but it was Usher's performance of "Chains" that stole the show.
Shackled by handcuffs, Usher got the crowd on its feet as he, Nas and Bibi Bourelly urged America to stop police brutality.
The singer released the socially conscious track (and its facial recognition music video) last week, where he challenged people to "not look away" and confront the racial injustices that the Black community continues to face. This is the singer's first performance of the track.
