Mathew Knowles, the Knowles family patriach and the mastermind behind Destiny's Child, is hosting a one-day workshop for aspiring superstars providing tips for breaking into the industry, reports Billboard.

For $199, singers, dancers, publicists, composers, managers and the like can sign up for the Oct. 24 event in Houston that will give people a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to make it in showbiz.

Knowles, who also teaches a recording industry class at Texas Southern University, is remaining tight-lipped about the course syllabus, saying that curious folks will simply have to enroll for the class.

"We will not have a textbook," he said in an interview with Click2Houston.com, "because I am the book."
