Nicki Minaj Apologizes for Nazi Imagery in 'Only' Video

"I'd never condone Nazism in my art," the rapper said via Twitter.

Nicki Minaj has received a lot of backlash over her latest video. Critics are saying the animation in the lyric video for "Only" is too similar to Nazi propoganda footage used during the Third Reich.

The rapper took to Twitter today to explain the concept behind the video and to take responsibility for offending anyone.

The artist who made the lyric video for “Only” was influenced by a cartoon on Cartoon Network called "Metalocalypse" & Sin City.

Both the producer, & person in charge of over seeing the lyric video (one of my best friends & videographer: A. Loucas), happen to be Jewish

I didn't come up w/the concept, but I'm very sorry & take full responsibility if it has offended anyone. I'd never condone Nazism in my art.
