Here's what we're talking about over our calming herbal tea:

A biopic of the famed singer Gladys Knight has been talked about for a while now, and Knight finally decided to weigh in. In an interview she posted on Instagram, the "Midnight Train to Georgia" singer revealed that she'd like Kelly Rowland cast to play the starring role. "We don't know her as an actress but there's something about her and her spirit that reflects with me," said Knight. If and when this biopic comes together, we hope they listen to Knight's advice because that would be one film we wouldn't want to miss. [NewsOne]

On the way to his Australia show, Kanye West was taken to a Melbourne hospital. After suffering a migrane, the trip was simply a precaution. But only a few hours after leaving the hospital, Yeezus was headed back to his scheduled show. [MTV]

After making a splash at the Toronto International Film Festival, Chris Rock's film Top Five has been picked up by Paramount Pictures, according to a press release. Starring Chris Rock, Rosario Dawson, Kevin Hart, Tracy Morgan, Cedric The Entertainer, Sherri Shepher and more, the film was co-produced by Jay Z and Kanye West.

Athlete Oscar Pistorius was found not guilty of premeditated murder in court Thursday. The South African judge called the defendant "negligent," but did not believe that the prosecuters had enough evidence to prove that the shooting death of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp was premeditated.
