Here's why we'll need a second cup of coffee this morning:

  • The bidding for Pharrell William's now famous Vivienne Westwood hat from the Grammys has ended and restaurant chain Arby's came out on top. After 131 bids and 21 bidders, Arby's will purchase the hat  for $44,100, which will go directly to Pharrell's From One Hand To AnOTHER charity. The "Happy" singer thanked Arby's via twitter for their donation in which they responded, "@pharrell You're welcome. We HAPPY to support a great cause & get our hat back. Good luck at the #Oscars tonight!" [Vibe]

  • Spike Lee's Brooklyn home has been vandalized following the director's passionate rant last week about gentrification. Lee's parents home in Fort Greene Brooklyn was spray painted with the words "Do the Right Thing" and a window was smashed on their front door. The incident comes after Lee referenced the address in his angry rant during a Pratt Institute questions and answer session.  Police are still investigating the incident. [NYDailyNews]

  • Beyonce's video for hit single "Drunk in Love" has crossed the 100 million views mark making it a VEVO Certified video. This brings Mrs. Knowles-Carter certified tally up to 7 VEVO certified videos including "Single Ladies" and "Irreplaceable." "Drunk in Love" currently sits at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. [VEVO]

  • Nicki Minaj's mother, Carol Maraj, has released her first Gospel single teaser. The 32-second snippet was posted on her SoundCloud page Sunday. The upbeat tune titled "God's Been Good" is said to be slated for a full release this month. [ThatGrapeJuice]

  • Taraji P. Henson is set to host the 14th annual BET Celebration of Gospel. Henson will take over Steve Harvey's place as the program's 13-year host. Henson says, "I am thrilled to join the BET Celebration of Gospel family. I look forward to a great evening of incredible music and continuing the rich history of BET and Gospel music which started 14 years ago hosted by the talented and very funny Steve Harvey." This year's ceremony will feature performances by Donnie McClurkin, Lalah Hathaway, Yolanda Adams, Hezekiah Walker, Chante Moore and many more.
