It's that time of year again!

ABC veteran Barbara Walters announced her annual (and highly anticipated) "Most Fascinating People of the Year" list.

Robin Roberts landed a coveted spot along with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, known together as Kimye. Roberts obviously was chosen for winning her battle against myelodysplastic syndrome and being a champion for women's health. While Kimye's been in the headlines since the top of year—for being controversial, of course.

Other notables who made the list include professional twerker Miley Cyrus (no surprise there!), the cast of Duck Dynasty, actress Jennifer Lawrence, former NSA contractor Edward Snowden and the royal family with baby George at the center of attention.

The final three subjects will be revealed on the special.

The upcoming telecast, slated for December 18th at 9:30 p.m., will also feature some of the biggest moments from the last 20 years since Walters began the show. On that note, this will be Walter's final "Most Fascinating" list. In early 2013, Walters announced she would be retiring after a 52-year career.
