"Jamie Foxx, this brother and friend raised a lot of money on behalf of the Trayvon Martin Foundation," shared Tyrese.

This weekend, Jamie Foxx hosted a Trayvon Martin Foundation fundraiser at his home.

Foxx tapped a number of his fellow Hollywood buddies to support the event, which also welcomed Martin's parents, Tracy Martin and Sabrina Fulton, and Martin's brother, Jahvaris.

According to Extra, Tyrese, Larenz Tate, Harry Belafonte, Tank, Tim Robbins, Russell Simmons and more were in attendance. Among the highlights, Simmons presented Martin's parents with a six-figure check.

Tyrese was more than moved by the event. He Instagramed the above photo with the caption, "A powerful gathering of 'influence' organized by @iamjamiefoxx this brother and friend raised a lot of money on behalf of the Trayvon Martin Foundation. I showed up cause I'm uncomfortable with injustice. Jamie Foxx I'm very proud of you and HOW you're using your influence."
