The Queen Latifah Show kicked off with a bang this week!

It's been more than 10 years since her last daytime TV gig and it looks as if Latifah still has it.

Yesterday, the actress and former rapper welcomed a host of friends to her fabulous set, which was decorated by Lenny Kravitz. She opened the show with a fresh dance number inspired by her first guest and dear friend John Travolta. The cameras followed Latifah as she arrived to work wearing an all-white suit, walking down the back lot and onto the stage to the tune of Travolta's Saturday Night Fever.

Later in the episode, Latifah and Alicia Keys joined forces to surprise several students at a Los Angeles high school. Together, they updated the students' deteriorating music room with fresh instruments. Willow Smith wrapped things up with a performance of her new single, "Summer Fling."

Today, Latifah welcomed the show's producer and friend Will Smith to the set for a lighthearted rap battle with Jeopardy host Alex Trebek. She also honored a military widow who's spending her time helping those who lost their partners in war.

With such a splashy debut, what do you think of the show so far?
