Supermodel Beverly Johnson stopped by ESSENCE to tell us all about her new reality show, Beverly's Full House airing on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network.

"We're making this reality show for a reason. The reason is to gain the skills one needs to create stronger bonds and that's something other people can use in their lives," said Johnson describing what sets her show apart from other reality shows. Beverly's Full House is a docu-series that follows the life of Johnson, her daughter Anansa, son-in-law David, and newborn granddaughter, Ava who all live together in Johnson's Palm Springs home.

"Now remember, I've only seen one episode so I do not know what the rest look like. But I can tell you this, we were ourselves — good, bad and indifferent," she said jokingly.

This former Vogue cover girl is not only making waves on TV screens, she is also shaking up the beauty industry. Johnson talks about her shift from endorsing a beauty brand to owning her own self-titled beauty brand.

Beverly's Full House premiers on the OWN network this Saturday, March 31 at 10pm.
