Diddy to Launch His Own Cable Network Channel

Diddy's New TV Channel
Diddy wasn't kidding when he said he had big plans to create a lifestyle around Sean John in 2012. The hip hop mogul is set to launch his own cable network channel called Revolt, a channel that will target African-Americans.

The New York Daily News reports that Diddy is collaborating with former MTV programming chief Andy Schuon to give the network the feel of "an old-style MTV." Comcast has agreed to carry the network as part of the company's merger agreement with NBC Universal. Together, their goal is to launch 10 new minority target networks over eight years.

Revolt will be available beginning December 12, according to Clutch Magazine.

Judging by Oprah's struggles to save OWN, it's not easy running a network. However, playing music videos for the majority of the day may solve any programming hurdles.

Will you be adding Revolt to your cable package?
