Live from the 27th Annual Stellar Gospel Awards
Last night, the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, TN, was transformed into a spirit-filled, hand-clapping revival as gospel greats celebrated the 27th Annual Stellar Awards to recognize accomplishments in gospel music.
Dorinda Clark Cole and Marvin Sapp hosted the show, which was full of riveting performances from Kirk Franklin, Earnest Pugh, Fred Hammond, Ricky Dillard & New G, Richard Smallwood & Vision.
The big winner of the night turned out to be gospel singer and composer VaShawn Mitchell, who swept six categories, including artist of the year, male vocalist of the year, contemporary male vocalist of the year, and praise and worship CD of the year for his album "Triumphant"
