We're smitten with indie soul singer, Mara Hruby (who will be featured in the December issue of ESSENCE Magazine).

Here, she debuts her latest video, "Character," which takes a closer look at what makes the Oakland native happy, creatively and musically.

At the end of the video, Mara shares a sneak peek of "The Love Below," an unreleased song from her untitled debut album.
