As the chorus of allegations and denials grows louder, one of the young men accusing Bishop Eddie Long of sexual abuse spoke to an Atlanta TV station about his experience. A former member of Long's New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, 23-year-old Jamal Parris wanted to tell Bishop Long how he really felt about him as a person. "You are not a man. You are a monster," he said. Parris is one of four young men accusing the minister of using his "spiritual authority" to gain sexual favors. Parris began attending New Birth at 14 and looked to Bishop Long as a father figure when his relationship with his own father became estranged. Now living in Colorado, Parris says he even remembers the smell of Bishop Long's cologne. "I cannot forget the way he made me cry many nights when I drove in his cars on the way home. I'm not able to take enough showers to wipe the smell of him off my body." Despite it all, Parris let it be known that he still does love his former father figure. "I loved him and I'm always going to have love for the things he taught us, but how he left us hurt worse than anything I ever felt in my life."
