Abundant in sweet fruits, crisp veggies and delectable seafood, the warmer months are characterized by lush dinners at sidewalk cafes followed by hot, steamy sex. Foodies that we are, we created a few aphrodisiac-laden, three-course meals for seafood sisters, meat lovers and green goddesses. Your Fantasy: Somewhere Beyond the Sea You're a seafood lover who dreams of long days spent with your man, basking under the hot Caribbean sun on some deserted isle off the coast of South America. Wearing nothing but your SPF, you and your sweetheart rotate between cool skinny-dips in the soothing ocean and hot sex on the soft white sand. Here's your recipe for sex:   Appetizer: Mussels in White Wine Scientific research reveals that there are chemical compounds in mussels that release sex hormones like testosterone and estrogen. Add to that the tactile aspect of pulling open the shell and the sensual feeling of the mussel's fleshy texture against your tongue, and you may need to excuse yourselves from the table before the main course. Steam your mussels in white wine, garlic, butter, olive oil, tomato and spices like thyme and saffron. Main Course Lobster Truffle Ravioli With its phallic shape and sweet, creamy meat, lobster has long been thought of as the aphrodisiac of the sea. The musty flavor of truffles is said to increase the skin's sensitivity to touch. Stuff sheets of pasta with fresh lobster meat and tarragon, and serve ravioli in a pool of white-wine and chicken broth flavored with lemon juice, garlic, celery, onions, tomato and truffle butter. Top it off with truffle shavings. For an extra shot of sex appeal, garnish your dish with caviar. Dessert: Almond Ice Cream topped with Marcona Almonds and Sea Salt  The scent of almonds is said to turn our libido way up. Cool off without losing your sex drive with almond ice cream topped with smooth Marcona almonds and sprinkled with course sea salt. The smooth, cold ice cream, mixed with crunchy almonds and rough salt will send you into sensory overload. Your Fantasy: Get to the Meat of It You wish you could transport yourself to some old European city right now. You'd sightsee by day and make love standing up with your back against the wall of your ancient apartment. At the end of your sessions, you and your lover would fall asleep in each other's sweat, because you love the musky smell of sex and revel in the sour, salty taste of it. Here's your recipe for sex:   Appetizer: Grilled Peaches with Prosciutto and Balsamic The image of a halved peach is said to resemble the female sexual organ. The fleshy texture and sweet flavor of the summer fruit are sensual gifts to the tongue. Grill peaches before drizzling them in olive oil and a balsamic reduction. Top with salty prosciutto to add some extra saltiness. Main Course: Grilled Lamb Chops with Fig-Chili Glaze While lamb is not an aphrodisiac, the flavors it's often paired with are. Lightly season lamb chops with salt and pepper and set them on the grill top with a libido-inspiring fig-chili glaze. The open fig also resembles the female sexual organ, so make sure to roast a few halved figs for your lover's delight. Fennel is known to beef up your estrogen. Roast the root vegetable with baby potatoes and aromatic herbs to start feeling hot, hot, hot. Dessert: Grilled Pineapple with Ricotta, Honey and Pine Nuts If you're hoping to seal the deal with a new man, this dessert is a winner. Packed with vitamin C, pineapples are known to combat impotence. Lightly grill this sweet, tart, fleshy fruit and top with a dollop of fresh ricotta cheese. Drizzle with honey and garnish with zinc-heavy pine nuts. The sticky, sweet honey will entice your man, the zinc-heavy pine nuts will make sure he stays all night. Your Fantasy: The Grass is Greener: What you wouldn't give for a weekend on the lake with your baby. With tall hedges separating your property from your neighbors, you and your man are free to frolic among the flowers and weeds. You'd lie down on a blanket and let him tickle your whole body with blades of grass. You want to lay him on his stomach and massage natural oils into his back as you both enjoy the cool breeze wafting by. Here's your recipe for sex: Appetizer: Avocado Bowls  Abundant in the summer, avocado is loved for its creamy texture. Cut a large avocado in half and remove the seed. Inside the indent from the seed, place diced tomato and chopped scallion. Drizzle with lemon juice and olive oil and sprinkle with coarse sea salt. Main Course: Vietnamese Lettuce Wraps Ingredients like cucumber, basil and ginger are all known to make you hot and get the blood flowing in the right places. Combine these flavors with tofu, sticky rice, sesame seeds and a touch of mint, and place them inside of leaves of bib lettuce for explosive results. Dessert: Seasonal Berries with Chocolate and Mint The bumpy texture of strawberries and raspberries are textural treasure troves. Their high content of vitamin C is great for the guy who needs an extra nudge. For a passionate evening, top a bowl of berries off with shavings of dark chocolate -- packed with feel-good chemicals -- and garnish with a few sprigs of cool mint.
