Even though beauty industry sales have been depressingly low over the past year, WWD reports that false eyelash sales have increased by 6.2 percent--which translates into roughly $44 million. Basically, American women are losing our jobs, our homes, the proverbial shirts off our backs, and yet we will find a way to pay for spiky, sultry, Diana Ross-lashes--proving that glamour knows no recession.
