Feeling eco-chic this summer? Check out Tonic's new collaboration with one of Hollywood's go-to jewelry brands, Alex and Ani. The fashion-forward brand, whose celebrity clients include fashionista/model Veronica Webb, has teamed up with Tonic, the leading media and e-commerce site focused on producing and aggregating content about the good things that happen around the world each day, to not only make you look good but to also help combat hunger.
The new collection which was designed by Carolyn Rafaelian, owner and designer of Alex and Ani, features expandable wire bangles ($38 each or in sets of 5 for $158), Women's and Men's Mother Earth necklace ($48) and a keychain ($38) that all contain a special stunning Mother Earth charm in either Russian Silver or Russian Gold.
The Mother Earth Collection was created exclusively for Tonic and the signature charm serves as a reminder for all of the wonderful things that earth has given us and how it is time for us to give back. Ten percent of each sale in the collection will go to World Hunger Year, which helps fight hunger in the USA and worldwide through education, community organizations and local farming support. The other ten percent will go to The Tonic Foundation, the charitable arm of Tonic that supports causes that Tonic members and customers identify by taking action on www.tonic.com.
