Who says a change isn’t on the way? The students who petitioned to have the name of the Ludlum Elementary School in Hempstead, Long Island, New York, changed to Barack Obama Elementary School finally got their wish, according to the Associated Press. The school board approved the change shortly after President Obama won the election last November but just announced that the school is now officially named after the 44th President, where the enrollment is 62 percent Hispanic and 36 percent Black.—WLW
