More than 700 invited guests joined Kanye West for a listening party for his new album, “808s & Heartbreak,” on Tuesday night. According to Rollingstone.com, a room full of 40 nude women stood around the venue, posing in silhouette against a wall of bright-colored light as some sort of performance art while guests listened to West’s new songs. Visual artist Vanessa Beecroft is responsible for creating the large-scale live performance.
When the album was finally over, the Grammy winner stood beside Beecroft’s models and said his new album is very personal, adding: “These are pieces of real life that I’m putting out for people to judge.” The album is set to be released November 25.
