If you’re a lady that must have the latest and greatest in beauty treatments, have we got the one for you. A spa in Northern Israel known as Ada Barak’s Carnivorous Plant Farm is offering a specialty massage with dozens of snakes. The larger serpents apparently do the kneading and the smaller guys give a little tickle.
Customers fork over $80 for the specialized treatment. It’s apparently one of those love it or hate it experiences. But the spa owner insists she has many repeat clients. We’re still not quite convinced it’s the calming experience a day at the spa should be. What’s wrong with an old-fashioned deep-tissue massage?
So far we haven’t heard of any U.S. spas willing to test the allegedly soothing technique. Of course, there’s always the fish pedicure if wacky is your thing.
