Talk about Black girl magic! Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles has taken the gymnastics world by storm over the last few years with her high-flying flips and energetic routines. Finishing up her time at the 2016 Olympics in Rio, Simone is taking home a whopping five medals—four gold and one bronze—making her the first gymnast since 1984 to win that many gold medals in a single Olympics. But, it's no surprise that she's killing it, because Black women have been slaying the sport since the beginning of time. Here's a look at a few other inspirational Black women who helped change the face of gymnastics.
