Why And How Are People Still Wearing Offensive Costumes In 2019?

Somehow, still, in 2019, people are doing blackface and calling it a Halloween costume. Tapping into your creative side, dressing up and become something else—if only for the night—can be really fun.

But with anything enjoyable, somebody has to ruin it. Costumes utilizing blackface, or other culturally insensitive costumes like Rasta men with fake locs attached to their hats, Arab men or women, indigenous people, they’re all bad because they’re not costumes.

People are still wearing those creepy gynecologist costumes with the innuendo, “Dr. Felthersnatch” on the white coat and free mammogram costumes in 2019. Halloween isn’t a free pass to be the worst and just brush it off as just a costume.

Check out the video above to see all the costumes that are banned from Halloween.
