Noticeably absent from the season ten premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta was former star Phaedra Parks.
Parks was allegedly fired earlier this year after it was revealed that she’d made up rumors about Kandi Burruss planning to drug and rape cast member Porsha Williams.
In this ESSENCE Now interview, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sheree Whitfield discusses Parks being fired from the hit series. Whitfield says, “That was no white lie. I don’t want to cost anyone their job or take any money out of anyone’s pocket but that went very far. That was just disgusting.”
It’s unclear if any of the ladies are on speaking terms with Parks after season nine’s explosive reunion, but it’s safe to assume that it’s unlikely.
