Back in April 2016, we were introduced to Shani Crowe by way of her amazing photography project, "BRAIDS." Fast forward some seven months later, and the Chicago-based artist is making headlines once again; this time, for the ethereal headpiece worn by Solange Knowles during her 'Saturday Night Live' debut. In celebration of this latest feat, take a look back at some of our favorite images from the BRAIDS exhibit.
