The Supreme Court will listen to a case first dismissed by a New Haven, Connecticut, trial judge. Nineteen White firefighters and one Latino firefighter sued the city of New Haven in 2004, citing that they would have been promoted if the city had not discontinued tests for lieutenant and captain because minorities generally didn’t do well on them, according to the Associated Press. The case will be heard by the Supreme Court in April. —WLW
