One of Willow Smith’s most recent Instagram posts is a pic of track she recorded a while ago, captioned, “Digging In The Archives Is So Fun.”

Willow Smith Promises that Another Album Is Coming Soon

Recorded in New York at Jimi Hendrix’s Electric Lady Studios, the song’s dreamy neo-soul vibe is reminiscent of Erykah Badu and feels like it was written by a veteran musician. Willow, who was 12-years-old at the time, seems to have developed a sound and style that people twice hear age often spend years trying to figure out.

It’s a great song that will leave you wishing for a rainy day full of daydreaming and lounging. Hopefully, Willow will share more gems from the archive.
