Did Will and Jada Pinkett Smith really give Tyrese $5 million? It’s the question we’ve all been asking ourselves, and it turns out the couple probably didn’t.
According to TMZ, the Hollywood stars deny giving the Furious 7 star millions to help with legal fees he racked up while battling his ex-wife in court over alleged child abuse.
The actor took to Instagram on Sunday to thank the couple for the “5 million dollars to help keep us afloat,” but sources close to the Smiths say they haven’t given Tyrese a dime.
In his post, Tyrese added that part of his alleged agreement with the Smiths included staying off the internet, but he has yet to slow down posting on social media.
The source close to Will and Jada add that the pair are worried that their longtime friend is having some sort of breakdown.
Tyrese’s recent behavior includes dedicating Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On” to his daughter, flying a banner over her school, and a tearful meltdown on social media.
