A glass of white wine is a great way to unwind after a hard day at the office, but your teeth may be paying the price. Learn more about drinking and dental prevention.
Let’s face it, after a busy day on the go, a glass of wine may be a nice way to unwind, but your teeth may be paying the price. Acid from frequent glasses of white wine can damage your enamel, according to BBC. Red wines have a much less impact on teeth, while Riesling does the greatest damage to teeth. Brushing after you drink isn’t the best solution either, as too much brushing could actually make things worst for the enamel of your teeth. A silver lining could be eating cheese with your white wine, as the calcium can counter the drink’s impact. -CJ
