The Irony: White Lives Matter Protestors Call BLM "The Most Racist Group" In America

Yet another group of demonstrators gather to rally in the name of false perceptions of Black Lives Matter.

As multiple organizations work diligently to find resolution through action in the wake of increasing racial tensions across the country, a counterproductive group of protestors took things to a new low with a bogus demonstration blatantly mocking the Black Lives Matter movement.

Over 20 participants gathered outside Houston’s NAACP headquarters on Sunday as part of a White Lives Matter demonstration intended to combat the inaccurate perception that Black Lives Matter is an anti-white, anti-police organization.  With confederate flag banners in tow and some even equipped with assault rifles, the group openly criticized the NAACP and called for an end to the fight against police brutality targeting African-Americans.

The group claimed the purpose of the protest was to rally against the NAACP, whom they ironically described as “the most racist group in America.” “If they’re going to be a civil rights organization and defend their people, they also need to hold their people accountable,” White Lives Matter member Scott Lacy told KPRC-TV.

A group of African-American residents eventually gathered and faced opposite the group in response to the protest, where they began questioning the White Lives Matter group about some of their claims. Once the opposing group dispersed, a second group of Black and white residents gathered in a nearby church parking lot to pray.

Per usual, social media erupted with a slew of reactions from people both for and against the event. Here’s a look at some of the most ridiculous responses in support of the #WhiteLivesMatter “movement.”

Believe it or not, white people can be concerned with their groups interest without hating others or suggesting supremacy #WhiteLivesMatter
