Tomorrow morning, the White House will host “Champions of Change,” a special panel honoring the work, mission and dedication of 11 staff and faculty members from a select group of HBCUs.
The panel, to be moderated by E! News co-host and North Carolina A&T University alum Terrence Jenkins, will include staff from Tuskegee University, Morehouse College, Alabama State University and Morgan State University.
“HBCUs are exemplars for creating robust opportunities for students who benefit from experienced mentors that help them navigate through courses, financial challenges, and struggle with personal difficulties,” reads a post on WhiteHouse.gov. “At the same time, HBCUs cultivate a rich learning environment and build initiatives to that promote post-baccalaureate success.”
Watch a live stream of the panel at www.whitehouse.gov/live tomorrow at 10 am EST, and join the social media conversation using the hashtag #HBCUchamps. Visit the website for a full list of participants.
