While most of Black America continues their love fest for President Obama, some African-Americans in the Big Apple are questioning the abilities of  David Paterson, the state’s first Black governor. Paterson faces growing doubts from a group that has been among his most loyal: Black elected officials, clergy members and voters, according to The New York Times. It is a significant turnaround for a man whose ascension to the governor’s office just over a year ago set off a swell of pride and joy in Black communities.—BB
