First his half-sister Maya Soetoro-Ng gets one, and now his half-brother will pen his thoughts for all to read. President Obama’s brother George Obama, 27, has Simon & Schuster backing his January 2010 debut of his memoir, according to the Associated Press. George Obama is the youngest of the President’s father’s seven children and was born just six month before their father died. The book is tentatively titled “Homeland” and will be written with journalist Damien Lewis. It will center on George’s run in with crime as a teen and the epiphany that lead to him becoming a community activist in Kenya who fights for the poor. No one is quite sure how much George is pocketing for the rights to his story although there is some rumor that it’s somewhere in the six figures.—WLW
