As we head into the weekend, we can’t stop thinking about how cool it was to see actresss Yara Shahidi (The First Family) playing a 12-year-old Olivia Pope in last night’s flashback, with her headphones on, looking like any other preteen girl. Because really, who doesn’t love the idea of the uber polished Ms. Pope once looking like the girl next door?
Bonus that it was another big step for a young actress we’re keeping an eye on. Kudos, Yara!
